Easter!!!

My goodness it's been forever since I've been on here! We had a crazy month in March, Shad was excepted into Engineer School and had training all month and we are so glad that's over! He passed and will get promoted at work when an engineer spot opens, and luckily some should be opening up soon. Then with me and a few dr. appt and stuff with the baby. April has been much better for us. I went on a girls trip and left shad and Pax for the first time! It was a much needed vacation and it was so nice. We went to St. George and stayed at my sister's house and it has a pool, and all the houses are only 1 story and it had a high privacy fence so I didn't have to worry about having anyone else see my in my swimming suit and being so prego, so that was nice! The weather was perfect and it was very relaxing. We had such a fun Easter this year. We had a huge party at his sister's house and she had 800...yes 800 Easter eggs that they did for all the kids. They have a huge yard so it was perfect, and Pax loved it!! they let the youngest kids go out first and gave them a few minutes to get some eggs before they let the older ones out. Pax did awesome at it. We forgot his basket and just used a bag, but it worked out better because there is no way he would've fit all the eggs he got into his basket! Then Easter morning we hid his basket and he was super excited when we found it. He loves cars so of course we had some of those in there and he cared more about those at first then he did the candy! Then we went up to Midway to have dinner with my family and do another Easter egg hunt. It was a little cold so it was a short egg hunt but after the night before he didn't need anymore. I wanted to take him to see the Easter bunny but we just didn't get around to it, so maybe next year!

He would pick them up two at a time and then hurry and shake the eggs and then put them in his bag and then go running to the next eggs he saw. He did awesome!

Of course his Easter basket is a fire truck basket. He got lots of candy and toys, and shad snuck some bubbles in there because he knows how much i hate bubbles so he thought that would be funny to give him...yay!
