Our Newest Addition!!

Our newest little guy is finally here! We had Jayden on July 5th at 2:35 pm after about 7 hrs. of labor (much better than Pax's 26 hrs)He weighed 8lbs. 6oz. and was 20.5 in. He was exactly the same weight as Pax! I'm glad we had him a week early because I don't think I can do a bigger baby! It was an easy labor and delivery, I only had to push for about 6 min. Our dr. was in a surgery and almost didn't make it. The nurse was teasing Shad about him delivering the baby since she knew he was a firefighter, and then as it got closer she got more serious and said that her and Shad really may be doing the delivery. but I'm sure another dr. would've come in, at least I would hope so! But our dr. made it just in time, he told me to push once to see where we were at and then said to just keep going because he could see the head. Everything went smoothly, although I had a little bit of a weird reaction to the epidural and it took about 6 hrs. for it to wear off on my right leg only. We are super happy that Jayden is here and Pax is really good and cute with him. He's been a little more clingy but if that's the worst of him realizing he has to share us, I'll take it!

He got so mad when someone tried to take Jayden to hold him. He wanted to keep holding him forever. I was glad that he instantly liked him!
One week old
Two weeks old. When we had his 2 wk appt. he weighed 9lbs. 12oz and the dr said that he has the 2nd highest record for weight gain in their office. The only baby that gained more than him is a Polynesian baby and he only has him by half a pound. So he gained back the weight he lost after being born plus some! I love fat babies so I hope he's a chunk!!!
