Pax's 6 Month Pics.

We had Pax's 6 month pics. done a couple of weeks ago. He's getting so big it's crazy. He sits on his own now and if he starts to tip over he'll even catch himself and sit back up. I'm sure it won't be to long before he's crawling!
He doesn't even look like a 6 month old in this pic. he looks like a little toddler!

Las Vegas and Newport Coast

Shad and I were in desperate need of a vacation...or at least I was. I was having with drawls! So we planned a trip to Newport Coast Cali. to stay in the Marriott timeshare there. Then the idea of taking a road trip instead of flying and staying in Vegas on the way down came up and Shad loves road trips. So after much convincing I finally caved and we took a road trip. Don't get me wrong I love road trips, but I hate the 6 hr. drive to Vegas for some reason. Anyway it was great weather, a little chilly but much better then the snow we left here. I love the fountains at the Bellagio so we had to stop there first. Sorry it's a little blurry I was also holding Paxsten and trying to stop him from grabbing the camera from me.

Pax also loved the fountains! I couldn't get him to turn and face the camera because he couldn't take his eyes off the fountains. I would turn the other way and he would instantly whip his head around to see them again.

Finally we got him to turn around somewhat for a second so we could have a little family pic. taken.

I should've zoomed in more on this but oh well....so this is our view off the balcony. I was sitting here eating my breakfast in the morning just watching the boats with Pax and I go inside to get his blanket. I come out less then a minute later and this is what I see in the water. I'm watching it for a minute thinking that looks like a small plane. Well yes it was and I freaking missed it crashing into the water by a minute! Ironically enough a few minutes before this I had been talking about how I hate flying over water because I have a fear of crashing into water, then this happens. Fear justified!!! I saw it before the coast guard even got there, I watched their little red boat coming up to it. But other boats had pulled up to it and I think gotten whoever was on there off of it. You can't tell in this pic. but the one side of it started leaning and the other wing was touching the water. Luckily it floated and they towed it back in. Crazy!!!!

I love this little guy!

The water was a little to cold for Pax he wouldn't put if feet back down after this pic. He did the full body shiver when we put his feet in the water. It was funny but sad because then he started fussing. So we took him out and wrapped him up.

Miles for Miracles

Last week Marriott was one of many sponsors for a torch relay for the Children's Miracle Network and our center got to participate. We did a 5k walk to raise money for CMN. It was the first year that they came to Utah to do the torch relay and they said that after our turn out they will definitely come back. We had about 500 people from my work do it so that's a lot of money they got just from all of us signing up. Then they had raffle tickets you could buy to win stuff. They had a little lunch and some other stuff set up for us downtown at the end of the walk. It was a lot of fun and next year I'll plan a little better and invite people to do it with me so we can earn more money for a great cause. They had a mom come to talk to us at the end about her son that was at Primary Children's Hospital and her story made it more then worth it. You can even bring your kids and walk them in the strollers. Luckily it was nice weather that day. So next year I'll let everyone know about it so you can participate if you want to!

Halloween and Shad's B-day

Shad's b-day is on Halloween so we went up to Midway and had a little party and did some trick-or-treating with the family. Paxsten was a lion and he looked so freaking cute in his costume! He didn't mind being it in at all and it kept him really warm. Although every time the wind would blow and hit his face it would take his breath away and make his eyes water, sad but funny.
I love that he even put his hand up in this, it was perfect timing.

Easton was a monkey. I should've gotten a pic. of the back of their costumes cause the tails on both were super cute!

Tyler had one of those big joker hats that he put on Pax. He would make the funniest face when he put it on him.

They're going to be best friends....they just don't know it yet but they don't have a choice!

I made Shad a Raspberry Chocolate Cheesecake but he wanted that all to himself so we I made some Halloween cupcakes for the party.

4 months old

Here are some pics. of Pax over the last month, he's four months old in this one. And P.S. ignore the messy bedroom in the back ground, I should've thought about that when Shad took this pic. Oh well....

So he fell asleep on me while we were sitting on the couch and I didn't want to wake him up so I just set him down there. I got up to get a drink and came back and this is how he was laying. He either sleeps on his back with his arms up above his head or on his side. He's such a funny sleeper!

Shad put one of the fire stickers on him that they give kids when they come and tour the fire stations. And funny enough he was wearing one of his fire shirts that day.

My sister gave me this toy thing and he seriously loves it. He'll play under that thing forever. And we'll put him under it and a few minutes later he's totally turned around or on his side reaching for the toys. He has to move around to get to all the toys, and he gets so loud playing under it. That's usually when he's the most vocal. He loves this thing so thanks Mel!!

3 Month Old Pics.

Here are some pics. of my little angel at 3 months old. I can't believe how time is flying by. I had the hardest time picking which ones I wanted to post because of course they are all so freaking cute! So here are a few of my little guy. There was some super cute of him the nude on his tummy with his cute little bum showing but I thought best to not put those on the Internet.

I'm finally have a chance to post some pics. of my little guy. Here are just some random pictures that are from when he was three months old. He's now 4 and half months old so I'm a little behind...I'm getting there.
I love that he reaches for our faces now, he even grabs our lips and pulls now when we talk to him but that's ok cause I love that he likes to touch our faces.

His Dr. said at 3 months we can start giving him rice cereal so this is our first attempt at feeding it to him. Then I had a few people tell me to just cut the hole in the nipple bigger and feed him it from a bottle. Yeah it's much better, and a lot less messy!

He loves my sister Kym, anytime she has him he just starts smiling and cooing at her, she can get him laughing pretty good too.
